Data Space for Tourism

Within the next 12 months, Modul University Vienna, City Destinations Alliance, European Travel Commission and Forward Keys endeavour to design a roadmap that will guide the creation of the future Data Space for Tourism (DSFT, see https://dsft.modul.ac.at) . Modul University is the technical coordinator of this one-year research project funded by the European Commission within the Digital Europe Programme.

Understanding Universal DNA and RNA Deformation Mechanisms

DNA and RNA deformations play crucial roles in biological processes, such as DNA packaging and nucleic acid recognition by proteins. The research team led by Professor Liang Dai, Associate Professor from CityU’s Department of Physics, revealed universal deformation mechanisms governing eight phenomena: DNA and RNA deformations induced by salt, temperature change, stretching force, and protein binding.
