At last some fighting talk and good sense from Labour, setting out clear battle lines. The only unfortunate point here is the last one - it is hard to say that universities do not serve local communities when you've just said that in losing a university you are losing a pillar of the community's economic, social and cultural assets. Skidmore should be ashamed of his euphemistic way of saying that the present government and the OfS would be content for some universities to go to the wall. Say what you mean. And completely off-topic - why is this the only web site in the world that can't tell the difference between a left click and a right click? Please get that sorted, THE.
Hi, We’re not clear what you mean when you say our website “can't tell the difference between a left click and a right click”. It seems to work fine from our end. But we will take a look if you can detail the problem in an email (add a screenshot if necessary) to THE.Help@timeshighereducation.com.
