Someone needs to be held legally accountable for doing this to university academics. There will surely be a reckoning. Won't there?
It's very strange, isn't it? After all, academics spend their lives teaching and researching a subject they like. It seems likely something has gone very wrong in the admin side of things
Ever bother considering that academics might be more willing to admit: " experienced symptoms including depression, sleeping problems and cognitive impairment" than others. Seems obvious to me. For comparison what constitutes "NHS staff"? Is it professional such as managers and doctors or does it includes all NHS employees many of whom are in non-stress jobs?
