On the contrary I've found that it's very easy to deliver one-to-one academic & pastoral support online. But what do I know? I've just been doing it for hordes of students since March; and for that matter to a fair few Degree Apprentices for years...
In many University, the biggest problem for personal tutoring is the workload modeling that does provide enough time for it...
