Two hundred further education colleges in England are to receive more than Pounds 19 million from the Government's Competitiveness Fund to help meet local skill needs, James Paice, the education and employment minister, has announced. Projects range from training small businesses on how to market on the Internet to training students in manufacturing techniques.
