The splendour of the Times Higher Education Awards 2010 is captured in this sketch made on a napkin by Curtis Tappenden, a lecturer at the University for the Creative Arts. "The drawing was made just after dinner using a Japanese brush that I carry with me at all times," he said. "The brush is great on cotton serviettes - a bit like working on canvas." The awards ceremony took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London last week. For more on the awards, visit: http://bit.ly/THEawards10
