A collaboration between geographers and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London has resulted in the launch of a new book on British Asian style. Tracing the longstanding influence of South Asian textiles on British cultures of fashion, dress and design, British Asian Style: Fashion and Textiles, Past and Present is one of the outputs of Fashioning Diaspora Space, a project funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council and led by Philip Crang from the department of geography at Royal Holloway.
