Queen Margaret University - Novel health course for Pakistan

A Scottish university has signed a memorandum of understanding with a partner in Pakistan to introduce a new qualification to the country. The agreement, brokered between Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh and the Health Services Academy in Islamabad, will support the creation of a postgraduate certificate in human resources in health management in Pakistan. It is hoped that the course, which will start in January 2011, will attract candidates from the Ministry of Health and from development agencies and other non-governmental organisations working in Pakistan.
