University of Brighton - House of future past rebuilt

A "house of the future" that captivated millions of television viewers is to be rebuilt on a university campus. In Channel 4's 2008 programme Grand Designs Live: The House That Kevin Built, the building was constructed in just six days and was heralded as the UK's first low-energy prefabricated house made from eco-friendly materials. It was later dismantled, but the structure is being recreated in the courtyard of the University of Brighton's Faculty of Arts.
