Do not make the common mistake of confusing legitimate criticism of and opposition to the nation-state of Israel with the abhorrent and rightly condemned evil that is antisemitism (i.e., attacks, verbal or physical, on individuals solely because they happen to be Jewish, or on the Jewish people as a whole).
The opposition to the state of Israel is Islam rejecting an independent non-Muslim state on land that Islam considers part of the Caliphate. This rejection of Israel is part of jihad, holy war, in which the murder of Jews, men, woman and children is allowed. The world loves dead Jews, but doesn't like Jews fighting back. As soon as we started fighting back the attention in the media turned from 1400 massacred Jews to poor underdog Palestinians. Some months before the Hamas massacre of 1400 Jewish civilians a poll showed massive support of Hamas by residents of Gaza. Antisemitism is denying Israel's right to exist and to defend itself. Israel and Israelis care more about the people of Gaza than the leaders in Gaza or Ramallah. From past operations 70% of Palestinians killed in Gaza are terrorists and it is well documented that Hamas use their own citizens as human shields. Israel is the ONLY country in the world which is under constant threat of destruction. Israelis would love to separate from the Palestinians, but we tried that in Gaza in 2005 and look what we got - 1400 massacred civilians and the blame for existing.
