Two cases plus one who won't identify themselves. How does that compare to European countries including the UK not issuing visas to foreign academics? Nice attempt by THE to cook up a fake news story on India once more.
Not honouring valid research visas held by foreign academics is a different matter from not issuing visas to foreign academics. So this article is reporting on a genuine and disturbing trend. Both European countries and India make it very difficult for foreign academics to obtain visas, and I agree that this is also an important issue that should be addressed in both contexts.
