It has certainly taken them awhile ... two suppliers have dominated the market ever since the start of DSA, charging high prices for equipment that often turned out to be out of date models bought in bulk, as well as more costly than direct purchases. By contrast, non-disabled university staff, sometimes students too, can often access good equipment at a negotiated discount.
