Having tried to keep working during the past 2.5 years on research papers whilst undergoing (continuing) treatment for cancer, I am pleased to see your thoughts on this. It feels like a plea to go back to treating people like individuals and finding what works for us, rather than straight metrics. Writing can help keep you occupied, but need time out for brain fog.
