Aston defends logo

Aston University has spent £65,000 on a new logo - an orange triangle. A university spokesman defended the cost - criticised by some staff - to the Birmingham Post : "A project of this nature is a massive undertaking. It is time-consuming, complex and due to the subjective nature of design, sometimes controversial." He said the university "must have a brand that reflects the personality, values and aspirations of Aston".
