Student-supervisor relationships ‘inherently risky’

I've tried to warn my colleagues about this, and got the typical response: "how can you suggest that any of us would do such a thing?" If even sociologists haven't heard about structural power, then there's little hope for the rest of the university. It's not about bad apples; it's about good practice.
