Having grown up in a Red Communist household I am amazed at how many people claim this is a far right idea, the 'left' have used similar tactics for years, only modern tech and (anti)social media have pushed it into the spot-light. But then the current 'left' appear to be more the pawns of OSF and similar NGO's with billionaire funders who are anything but left wing, manipulating them to enable even greater concentration of wealth and control in even fewer hands.
It's fair enough really. Teachers should not be engaging in 'left-wing teaching' anyway, any more than they should be engaging in 'right-wing teaching'. Leave ideology out of the classroom, unless you are one of the rare human beings who is tolerant enough to respect different shades of opinion.
If a given University is owned by state (i.e., by public) than anything that is officially happening there is a matter of public concern. I think all courses should be filmed and shared officially to ensure the public trust.
