A student union president faced a disciplinary hearing this week after refusing to cancel a public debate featuring a controversial Islamic group. Middlesex University confirmed that Keith Shilson will be attending a hearing on Friday. Mr Shilson was escorted off the university's north London campus on September 20 because of his refusal to cancel an invitation to Hizb ut-Tahrir to speak in the debate.
