Brunel, Nottingham and Ulster universities are to set up a £6.3 million Multidisciplinary Assessment of Technology Centre for Healthcare to improve medical research and development exploitation. The centre will also have contributions from King's College London and Birmingham University. The funding came from the Department of Trade and Industry and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council.
