A Canadian who used a forged 1977 medical degree to obtain an internship at McMaster University in Hamilton and then practised in Ontario for 15 years has pleaded guilty to fraud.

Stephen Kai Yui Chung has been barred from practising medicine despite almost 200 letters of support from his 1,000 patients.
