Liverpool Hope University College may set up a new college in Ripon, North Yorkshire, after next year's expected closure of the University College of Ripon and York St John campus.
A spokesman for Liverpool Hope said options were being explored towards the establishment of a teacher training college on the site, but this would depend on funding and the intentions of a developer thought to be eyeing the site.
