The Association of Colleges has forged a partnership with the TUC and lecturers' union Natfhe to encourage unions and colleges to work together to open "gateways to learning" for college staff.
New guidelines contained in a paper Working with Further Education , published this week, show how unions can help develop learning programmes to suit their members' needs.
