The average graduate starting salary is up 4 per cent to Pounds 18,330 this year, according to the Association of Graduate Recruiters. The best-paid jobs are in legal services, where the median starting salary is Pounds 21,500. The least well-paid posts are in insurance, where the median starting salary is Pounds 16,500.
