The need for universities to forge global partnerships with private business is essential in developing and delivering e-courses. This would help shoulder the cost of developing courses and training staff but also permit a free flow of skills from business to universities and back. The question for me is - which private businesses universities web themselves up with? The issue of ethical businesses enters the debating arena.
