The headline "Blair's idea benefits big-wigs' children" (THES, October 15) was inaccurate and misleading. I am disappointed The THES chose to print the claim that the children of Foreign and Commonwealth Office staff benefit from our Chevening Scholarships scheme. They do not and cannot. Only foreign nationals are eligible for selection as Chevening scholars.
