Internet publishing to benefit biosciences

One of the biggest ventures so far in online scholarly publishing has just been launched by an international grouping of university libraries and the American Institute of Biological Sciences (AIBS). BioOne will provide internet access to full texts of dozens of leading research journals in the biological, ecological and environmental sciences. The initiative will kick off with a broad selection of journals and bulletins published by the 55 member societies of the Institute.
