In-service diploma for special needs teaching

New qualifications for teachers who want to specialise in children with learning difficulties have been launched by the University of the West of England. The Bristol-based university has launched a postgraduate diploma and an MA in special educational needs teaching. The courses are modular in design and are aimed at existing teachers and in particular supply teachers. They are the result of collaboration with Select Education, a supply-teacher company.
