Literary agents Curtis Brown Ltd will offer a Pounds 1,000 prize for the best novel written by a student on the MA programme in novel writing run by the University of Manchester.
The prize will go to the best novel, in the opinion of Curtis Brown, submitted by a student by the end of course deadline, so long as the student is not represented by a literary agent or contracted to a publisher.
