A Pounds 7.5 million gift to the University of Cambridge from Intel chairman emeritus Gordon Moore and his wife Betty will fund the Physical Sciences and Technology Library, housing the Stephen Hawking papers and electronic archive. Peter Fox, university librarian, said this would aid the cross-matching of ideas from electronic and paper sources to bring new advances.
