Scots think big for future

The Scottish Higher Education Funding Council wants to see the number of part-time students grow by 10 per cent by 2000. Its corporate plan follows a Pounds 6 million Scottish Office initiative to boost access by part-timers. SHEFC wants to see the proportion of adults with HE qualifications continue to rise to 50 per cent by 2010.
