Jim McGoldrick to head Pounds 550,000 project

Jim McGoldrick, vice-principal of the University of Abertay Dundee, will head a Pounds 550,000 project to encourage Scottish higher education institutions to develop a national framework for qualifications, writes Olga Wojtas.

The two-year project, funded by the Scottish Higher Education Funding Council, will help preparations for the QAA's Scottish qualifications framework, which is being developed in parallel with a framework for the rest of the United Kingdom.
