"A paper published in the Economics of Education Review in August claims that students’ academic performance is negatively correlated with students’ evaluations of their professors." So surely that means we should keep student satisfaction questionnaires as they are but regard a high score as equivalent to poor teaching performance. Yes?
Sauce with that?
Amazing topic for the article. I think that education should not focus on rating from either side be it students or the faculty. The rise of edtech startups like https://neostencil.com/upsc-syllabus/ and their sole motive is to educate and prepare students. Edtech is enabling to make learning fun. It may be bringing down the student- teacher relationship and enabling student mentor relations.
