THE RECENT Science Week highlighted some interesting web sites. Southampton University (www.soc.soton. ac.uk/SUDO/tt/eh) has beautiful pictures of Emiliania huxleyi, a tiny sea plant which could save us from the greenhouse effect by turning carbon dioxide into chalk. Harold Thimbleby's team at Middlesex University have put together a Benjamin Franklin site celebrating one of the Enlightenment's most brilliant and inquiring minds (www.cs.mdx.ac.uk/franklin/)
