Zahawi wants OfS to audit foreign donations for free speech risk

This sounds appropriate for some Qatari-funded posts in Theology schools (sometimes involved in "bridge-building" and "Inter-faith" initiatives, but not keen on "Orientalism", "Islamophobia" etc). Perhaps the Confucius Institutes too, where (perceived) Chinese state interests are at stake. I daresay money talks in academia, as it does elsewhere, when decisions are made, and universities are still seed-beds of culture.
