A congressional committee has recommended that non-United States students be barred from access to American university supercomputers used in nuclear weapons research in the wake of the Chinese spying scandal. The select committee on national security found that Chinese spies may have posed as students to gain access to the computers at university-affiliated nuclear weapons laboratories.
