Wales bids to increase the number of medics

The Welsh Assembly's health minister, Jane Hutt, has unveiled plans to establish a clinical school at Swansea organised jointly by Swansea University, the University of Wales College of Medicine and Swansea National Health Service Trust.

The first students will enter the new school in September. It is part of a plan to increase the number of medical students training in the principality.
