The Wales Institute for Research in Art and Design has been launched at the National Assembly for Wales in Cardiff. It is hoped that the institute, founded by the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff and the University of Wales, Newport, will strengthen research in the field by bringing together the principality's top researchers in the field.
