Vice chancellors agree to take over Study Abroad Consortium

The vice-chancellors also agreed to take over the Commonwealth Universities Study Abroad Consortium, which has been managed by the Commonwealth Secretariat.

The ACU is backing the scheme to encourage mainly undergraduate mobility within the Commonwealth with up to Pounds 300,000 to meet travel and other costs. The aim is to foster mobility among students from developing countries to avoid offering another financial lifeline to high-flying students who would probably qualify for existing schemes.
