University of Worcester - Funds for female rugby hopeful

Hopes are high that a scholarship granted to a student at the University of Worcester will help her cement her place in the England women's rugby team in time for the 2010 World Cup. Abi Chamberlain, a third-year sports coaching and physical education student, already has three caps. She is one of 40 students to share in £19,500 distributed in a Worcester scholarship scheme this academic year to help pay for training costs.
