An Oxford college has launched a £17 million fundraising campaign for a major expansion that will include the building of two new quadrangles and a bridge link across a city centre street. As part of the £29 million project, Pembroke College, physically one of the University of Oxford's smaller colleges, plans a new 170-seat multipurpose auditorium, a cafe and teaching rooms. About £9 million has already been raised.
