UKRI agrees to create research integrity watchdog

I had sent a complaint to a well-known university in the UK a year ago. The reason is, that a behavioural study had evidently been conducted without ethics approval. Astonishingly, my complaint was dismissed at the preliminary review stage. Hence I think, that self-regulation doesn't work. I would like, that allegations are investigated by an independent watchdog.
