TTA review draws firefrom principals and v-cs

In response to the Teacher Training Agency's quinquennial review, the Committee of Vice-Chancellors and Principals and Standing Conference of Principals have told ministers that the TTA's funding role should be transferred to the Higher Education Funding Council and its role in professional and standards-related activities should be managed by the new General Teaching Council. The outcome of the review is due later this month.
