* Students have cleaned up their shabby, unwashed image, according to a Visa Cash survey, which claims that today's students do at least two loads of laundry a week.

While 20 per cent of male students admitted to washing their clothes once every fortnight, the survey was unable to sniff out any females who did their laundry less than once a week. Male students are also three times more likely to take their washing home to mum than girls are.
