Now we just need an equally strict set of rules to control lousy university management.
Totally agree with MichaelParaskos, and I add to management, lousy university HR. If the investigations are not developed by independent bodies, then corporate HR and management will tend to minimize the effects of the accusations. On this regard, EU organs to prevent academic harassment (like Petition No 1132/2020 to EU parliment https://www.europarl.europa.eu/petitions/en/petition/content/1132%252F2020/html/missinglink), will be a step up against fake research (authorship abuse, coercive authorship, fabrication, falsification and plagiarism.
