Patrick O'Farrell, dean at Heriot-Watt university, giving the laureation address for Raymond Seitz, former United States ambassador to Britain, also paid tribute to his wife, Caroline Seitz. At the Palace of Holyroodhouse, he said, she had the distinction of being the first ever to address the Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, with "Hey, Sugar!".
