Sussex student raped

A 20-year-old woman was attacked and raped at the University of Sussex campus last Saturday. The attacker threatened to kill her, but ran off after a violent struggle in which the victim bit him on the neck. The man is described as heavy built and in his 30s. Alasdair Smith, vice-chancellor of Sussex, said: "The security of students and staff is of the highest priority. We hope the CCTV footage we have passed to the police will prove helpful."
