Robots reel in cash

Middlesex University's School of Computing Science has won a £220,000 grant from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council that may help turn a fantasy into reality - the replacement of human beings with "intelligent" robots. A team led by Christian Huyck, reader in artificial intelligence, has received the grant to develop a video game based on the latest research in artificial intelligence.
