A Harrier jump-jet fighter has 'landed' at Coventry University as part of a £400,000 investment in an aerospace laboratory - the only one of its kind in a UK university. The laboratory has been designed and built to enhance the teaching of students on undergraduate aerospace courses. Ashraf Jawaid, dean of the School of Engineering, said: 'By offering students the opportunity to work with real, full-size working models, they will be able to delve more deeply into the subject.' Aerospace engineering is an area for strategic growth for the West Midlands
