Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman didn't flee the country; rather he was detained in Pakistan jail. But the liberation war took place at the behest of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib. What we've known is that Major Ziaur Rahman's declaration aired on Bangladesh Betar (Radio) was made on behalf of Sheikh Mujib. However, here's a correction needed. The current Prime Minister of Bangladesh is Ms Sheikh Hasina (she), not Mr. Please correct it.
