How right Larry Bunt is (Soapbox, THES, September 10). Not only is the single pay structure an alarming prospect, but the single pension scheme proposed by Bett further ties the hands of institutions trying to provide attractive employment packages in a global market. What we need is diversity and flexibility not a "one size fits all" philosophy.
