Oxford institute named after press baron

Oxford University's planned new American Institute has been re-named as the Rothermere American Institute, in recognition of support for the project from the late Lord Rothermere (pictured below), proprietor of Associated Newspapers. Funding for the project is now complete, following a Pounds 1.5 million pledge from the Daily Mail, an Associated Newspapers title.
